Hello! I’m Tori. I love video games, Godzilla movies, and accordion music. I’m also a career Instructional Designer in the Washington, D.C. metro area.

To me, Instructional Design, in its perfect form, is a mixture of writing, education, typography, graphic design, and neuroscience. It’s part pedagogy and part computer arts. It’s the art of harnessing and shaping messy information into something that’s thoughtfully contained, accessible, and beautiful.

I created this site to be a space for my thoughts, ideas, and projects in progress. I aim to apply the skills I’ve learned over the course of my education and career to some of my more personal endeavors – hopefully entertaining myself (and perhaps others) in the process.
